WHY IT EXISTS
Mission-driven organizations are often expected to accomplish more with limited resources, changing needs, and increasingly complex technology. OptStrategies exists to bridge that gap, combining real-world experience with data, technology, and strategic thinking to help organizations do more of what matters.
HOW WE WORK
We take a practical approach to problem-solving. We look at people, programs, processes, and data to understand what is happening, identify opportunities, and build solutions that can actually be used. Then we adapt as needs and circumstances change.

Our work is rooted in nonprofits and community organizations, but the broader mission is bigger than one sector. We support mission-driven organizations, changemakers, and individuals working across social, environmental, arts, cultural, and community-focused causes.

OptStrategies was founded by Roxana Mejia, a nonprofit professional and U.S. Navy veteran with experience in community development, program leadership, and mission-driven organizations. Her work includes community development with Habitat for Humanity and support for veteran-focused initiatives.
That experience shaped a practical approach to problem-solving: understand the environment, identify what is working and what isn't, bring the right people and resources together, and build something that can actually be used.
Today, that approach is expanding into data, technology, digital systems, and other tools that can help mission-driven organizations navigate change and create meaningful impact.
